You are just like, winning at food blogs

  2. Wow! I haven’t heard of all these flavors. Thanks, Tim. Marshmallow Crispy! Who needs s’mores?
Will run to grocery store. I wonder how they’d be for breakfast? D

As a fellow special edition oreo aficionado, I am so moved by this post. Honestly, I liked the firework oreo.

  4. Hi Christine- I mean, they taste like regular oreos, which is good. But the pop rocks just felt like pandering to me. But maybe I don’t like pop rocks as much as I am supposed to? Anyway, I respect wanting that one higher on the list. : )

  5. WTF is a cookies-and-cream Oreo? Isn’t cookies-n-cream ice-cream Oreo-flavored ice-cream? This is too meta for me.

  6. Exactly, Prathi!

  7. The comments on the post are as legit as the post itself. Bravo to Tim, and Bravo to both Christine and Prathi for making me lol. Coconut thins flavor, in the middle of the pack: tell me more!!

  8. Hi Amber! The coconut thins are out now, so get thee to your local supermarket. They’re good. Coconut filling, chocolate wafers. It is unclear if these are a permanent addition to the line up or a limited thing.

Hi Tim! Unfortunately none of these flavours are available to your Canadian relatives! It might be worth doing a quick cross border shopping trip :) We will be seeing some of the gang in August in Cape Breton, hopefully you and Brian will be there. Take Care!

  10. I’m n the U.K.

Have only seen, but not tasted, peanut butter flavour. And the regular flavour too. Love the idea of yellow cake and coconut thins.

  11. Haha love this! My fav is the coconut thins – too addicting!

  12. Just bought the Jelly Donut Oreos yesterday and I am not only confused but disgusted. Not only do they not taste like either jelly or a donut, they leave a nasty aftertaste in your mouth. They taste purple….yes purple…not grape..yuck!!!!!!!!!

  13. Eric- Yeah! Not great. But still no Swedish Fish. Sorry that happened to you, hope it doesn’t turn you off of limited edition Oreos. Though, admittedly, there is some risk involved.

  14. I’m holding out for the return of the Peppermint flavor with peppermint chunks, whose existence is responsible for my shameful haunting of Target’s cookie aisle on a weekly basis from November-January. Nabisco giveth, Nabisco taketh away.

  15. yeeesssss! thins for life!

  16. LOL, Audrey!

Yossy, I am with you on the thins in general, but I do not like the special edition thins as much as i want to. they are underwhelming. too elegant.

  17. I’m in The Bahamas, and I’ve never seen or heard of any of these! The most exotic oreo combination I know is double stuffed haha. This is so curious. I think I’d like to try the Dunkin Donuts Mocha, since I love those wafer cookies you compare them to.

  18. I am also overseas, like some of the commenters, and have only seen and tried golden oreos (bleh), cinnamon bun (also underwhelming), and mint thins (THE BEST EVER). Of your list, I think I can do without almost all, although the marshmallow sound intriguing.

  19. Hi Tim, I might be a little too late to this party, but still. The idea of flavored Oreos was intriguing, especially as you had gone to the trouble of ranking them. I(I might be spared the horror of something awful). But I am not often in the cookie aisle of a supermarket so the opportunity to contribute has languished.
My husband was very skeptical about this operation, and still is. However, we tried the coconut thins and the salted caramel thins and it didn’t kill us. The salted caramel tastes like nothing. The coconut is very nice.
Couldn’t find marshmallow crispy but I would so love to! They had cinnamon bun but I couldn’t pull the trigger on that. Next time.

  20. i just saw this list! impressive you have so many under your belt. (*furiously starts ordering more on amazon right now to catch up)

What do you think?
