OMG this brought back memories. I live in NYC now, but I went to OPRF High School and was on the Tennis Team. Every Saturday, we would have tennis meets out of town and had to leave around 7 am and they would sell these donuts near our High School! We would always grab a box – they are truly amazing. I think the only one i’ve had since that even compare are Duck Donuts in the Outer Banks of NC (if you ever go out there, you must get them – they are truly amazing.)
And you’re a fellow Chicagoan, sweet. Consider yourself followed (oh boy, that sounds creepy doesn’t it? of course I mean that I will be following your blog)
Aww, nice to see a Chicago blogger. We miss home this time of the year, especially the white Christmas and the Kolachkys!! We really miss walking through Oak Park and just walking around town…hope you have a great Christmas!!!

Looks like summer! (I grew up just across the lake.) I’ll have to check it out the next time I am in town visiting friends.
