How delicious. I love Stracciatella and yours looks more than good. Bryan is so lucky having such a dear partner on his side that makes all this yummy food for him.
Yes, this stuff is AMAZING. The ice cream is so sweet & smooth and the chocolate so crunchy & deliciously bitter. This was the perfect reward for being born (and hours of tinkering with WordPress code).
Nice updates, and I love the stracciatella. Those Italians know everything. Normal chips are always too much in my ice cream, but these shards of chocolate seem perfect. I’ve been on an ice cream kick lately, and was in search for a great vanilla recipe. Thanks for sharing!
Darn if I had read this post just 30 minutes earlier I could have done this with the coconut ice cream I just finished taking out of the machine! Mmmmm, and I could have topped it with some roasted almonds. Thanks for the idea. I’m going to keep it in mind for next time.

This puts my lonely pint of vanilla in the back of the freezer to shame.

Wow, I have a feeling I might find myself unable to resist the urge to get an ice cream maker soon…

Great to see you on Twitter! I’m @kfleisher :) I have 1 vanilla bean sitting in my cupboard, just waiting for this ice cream.

I’m not a vanilla girl…but I love the idea of doing this chocolate on chocolate, just the right texture.
