Sounds wonderful — I can almost taste the 1980 & 2011 versions simultaneously! Sorry I can’t make it to Chicago in February, but I hope everyone has a great time.
Ahh, this is so exciting! Are there any plans for a vegetarian/pescatarian option en lieu of the pork? (I actually do eat chicken+beef+fish, just no pork…) The rest of the menu sounds fantastic, though and I can probably just have the potatoes gratin+slaw and be plenty happy.
Sara- yes! Absolutely, we will have a vegetarian option. (we’re still working out details on that, but it will be delicious!)
schneider- excited to chow down with you!
This sounds so delicious. Congratulations on such a successful event. I tried to call today for tickets and they are already sold out for Wednesday! I look forward to events in the future.
P.S. I LOVE this blog. Great recipes, photos, and stories.
I so badly wish I could be there. The menu sounds very yummy. I might recreate at home a recipe or two just to share the fun of the event.. And well done, it already sold out!
Hi! My friend Maura shared your site with me – LOVE!! Love the recipes, the photos, the overall look and feel. As what’s-his-name said, “I’ll be back.” Pineapple granita. Shut up!
