I must admit I found it amusing that you finished your post about your UK trip with a recipe for Anzac biscuits. But they are a staple in my Aussie household. I even posted a batch to my daughter when she was in England during her epic gap year trip. They travel well. I think that was the original idea.
PS just so all readers know – Anzac is the acronym for Australian New Zealand Armed Forces.
Charleston Farmhouse is at the top of my list of places to see in England that I have not already seen. It seems you love Bloomsbury as much as I do. Thanks for posting these lovely pictures. Is the picture of Violet, the bakery?

The biscuits are appealing, but I’m allergic to coconut. Would you advise simply omitting or could you suggest a substitute?
