Could not agree more with your hot takes on FE and Gohar. As someone who lives near the “estate” – once a legendary location for porno shoots before it’s rebrand – I roll my eyes on the regular. What started during the pandemic, an east side location for picking up CSA boxes and local flowers, grew into a full blurred line to suggest it all comes from the property now that it is repackaged in a fancy branded box. Marketing magic! Yet I too can see beyond the curtain. Gross.

I saw your photos of the cake on Instagram and bought all of the ingredients a few days ago – planning to make it on Friday to have as a weekend treat!
As a New Orleans native, I can attest that all the places you went are definitely tops on my list. If I were advising someone who’s visiting our great city on where to go and what to see, I would tell them to do just what you did. I’m happy you had such a wonderful experience here!
